Continue wrapping until you get to the bend of the hook. It should look like this...

Take a piece of flat silver tinsel about 2 1/2 times the length of the hook and secure one end here. Now wrap the chenille up the shank in the same manner as the thread, keeping steady pressure on the chenille and secure it with 4 to 5 thread turns just going over top of where the tinsel is secured. Now cut the chenille as close to the securing wraps as possible. It should look like this...
3. Spin your thread towards the eye of the hook stopping 1/2 of an inch from the eye of the hook. Grab the free end of the tinsel with your hackle pliers and spin the tinsel up the shank of the hook in the same manner as your thread and secure it 1/2 of an inch from the eye. Secure it down with 4 or 5 thread turns and trim of the extra. It should look like this.

Now cut the chenille as close to the securing wraps as possible. It should look like this...
5. Trim off a clump of marabou so it looks like the picture at the start of this page. Hold the cut ends on top of the hook and secure them down with 4 or 5 thread turns as close to the chenille as possible. Try to keep the fibers on top of the hook as you secure it.
